We're not taught How to be Human at school
Are you ready to explore and live life to the full?
Award winning international fine art photographer and spiritual teacher, Marlene Neumann, talks about her journey towards personal authenticity.
She calls it finding out how to be human, explaining that, as children, we are not taught to understand how profoundly energy and spirit shape our lives. As a consequence, we are disconnected and dysfunctional.
In the video series, Marlene explores the life-affirming, emotionally healing truths that have always been expressed through her photographic images but of which she became consciously aware only during the past 12 years. The series is of interest to those who want to expand their photography as well as those who want to expand their self-awareness.
Explore How to be Human
in these four powerful videos

“... absolutely awe-inspiring! I think I’ve had an ah-ha moment. I need to pull myself together and really start living.
You have no idea how much I needed to see that.”
“Stunningly beautiful, extraordinarily emotional. Can’t wait to see episode two.”
“You took us into your sacred space with ease and depth.
It is difficult to convey the sacred and your contribution is the pebble in the well. Moving the density.”

Episode 1: In the end, there was just me
Episode 2: We need to wake up!
Episode 3: Experiencing your life
Episode 4: Living your truth

EPISODE 1: IN THE END, THERE WAS JUST ME
Episode 1, which is titled “In the end, there was just me”, introduces the turning point in her life at which she began her own journey to authenticity and moves on to discuss the things that people resist talking about: energy, emotions, and spirit.
For the first time, Marlene Neumann, master fine art photographer, zooms in publicly on what it means to be human, to be in flow, to be authentic.

EPISODE 2: WE NEED TO WAKE UP!
In episode 2 of this four-part series, Marlene Neumann takes the discussion of self-realization further, focusing on the practical process of how to move into the present moment and, therefore, full awareness. She provides tangible examples via her photography. Marlene talks about the possibilities for entirely new experiences that await us when we learn to shrug off the limiting concepts from our conventional upbringings.

EPISODE 3: EXPERIENCING YOUR LIFE
In episode three, called ‘Experiencing your life’, Marlene brings into sharp focus ways in which we can use whatever it is that we do, working or playing, to be fully present for our own lives. She reminds us to stay aware, minute by minute, not only that we are alive but also that the transcendent power that some of us call God is expressing Itself through us. She shows us that we are always supported and nurtured.

EPISODE 4: LIVING YOUR TRUTH
Having demonstrated in previous episodes how to discover one’s essential self, here Marlene explains why it is so important not simply to know yourself but how, on a practical level, to live each moment according to that ultimate reality. She also discusses the urgent need for children to be raised differently – to give as much attention to energy, spirit, and emotions as to conventional school subjects – in order to have fulfilling and purposeful lives as adults. In other words, in this episode, Marlene rounds out the process of becoming truly human. Of contributing to the wonder of life, through photography and every other aspect of your existence.
