I call it the Wild at Heart Retreat Centre because we experience life from the centre of being ourselves. We are at the centre of our universe and the centre of our life. We recognise this from the very core of who we are in this kind, loving, supportive community.

I started the Wild at Heart Retreat for all those people who feel that they don’t fit in, or they don’t belong. This is somewhere I’ve been all my life so I know how lonely a place it can be when you feel different from those around you.

In the last two years, as we’ve been experiencing significant change in our lives and world, the Wild at Heart community members have supported each other, myself included, to grow in every aspect of becoming ourselves. We have all come from different experiences and backgrounds. We’re all going to different places, on different paths. We have fun journeying together wherever the energy takes us, because that’s how we learn to dance with life – by experiencing everything we come up against.

The Wild at Heart Retreat is about getting back in touch with nature; understanding what the Earth is about; understanding our true nature. It’s about oneness and connecting to the spirit of life – your spirit, nature spirits, universal spirit.

This community holds you as you take your next steps in life. We’re all nature lovers, free spirits who are wild at heart and never felt like we belonged anywhere.

Here's what our community members have to say:

Willie Wild at Heart Retreat

The Wild at Heart Retreat has exposed me, to me. Marlene has methodically taught me to embrace the present moment. I now fully understand how impossible it is to live in the past. I also accept that it is impossible to live in the future.

Marlene's mentorship has helped me reset my thinking and to surround myself with the power of nature. I have developed special friendships in the Retreat with others who also accept the power within each one of us. Photography has become a whole new territory for me. Marlene taught me the skill of capturing what my soul feels through my eyes rather than randomly capturing what my eyes see.

Jeanine Wild at Heart Retreat

The Wild at Heart Retreat has not only helped me with my photography but it has also created a space where I feel more spiritually connected to nature. The weekly meditations and Satsangs help to restore my inner peace and calm by keeping me grounded and centered. The Monthly focus hour is a wonderful way to connect with Marlene and other like-minded people. It really has opened up my heart and mind to seeing the world through through “different eyes”.

Roopa Wild at Heart Retreat

The Wild at Heart Retreat has helped me evolve as an individual. I learnt to manage my fears, explore my photography and experience meditation and satsangs like never before. I have also learnt a lot about myself and the world. Marlene is an amazing mentor and teacher. I am forever thankful for finding this group of amazing people

The Wild at Heart Retreat is a beautiful space I come to every week to feed and nourish my soul, through listening to insightful and wisdom filled satsangs/ teachings followed by healing meditations and being surrounded by fellow seekers.

By being online the “container” is always available to access teachings and inspiring photography to pick me up and carry me whenever I need it, as well as to challenge and grow me.

Through the photography monthly challenges given to us by Marlene my own photography has become more meaningful and has taught me to understand myself in a way I did not know was possible.
